response to pixar article

What I Learned

1. Pixar has a system that allows them to render CGI characters/images in a style that looks like a painting.

2. This process allows an artist to paint 2D illustrations over different CG keyframes and the software fills in the parts in between.

3. It's likely that we're only a few years away from a full length movie being made via this process.

My Opinions

1. Personally, I'd like to see a movie that uses this type of style.

2. This looks similar to the cel shaded style of the Borderlands game series.


Could video games be made that use this style?
